Bon Iver’s songs make me cry.  “Re: Stacks”This is not the sound of a new man or crispy realizationIt’s the sound of the unlocking and the lift awayYour love will beSafe with me  Just reading his lyrics is like reading poetry.  And just looking outside tonight is like seeing poetry in the sky. The moon is full and bright and it was shining on me while I let my dogs outside close to 10pm. Dear Lord, I pray tonight over all of the girls who attended Beautiful 2 tonight at Matthews, young or old, Christian or not, I just pray that you help this event to resonate in their hearts. I pray for The Hope Design, Lord, that you would continue to bless their faithfulness and their obedience and that you would help prepare and strengthen them for the task ahead. I thank you, God, for Melissa and Shelby, two wonderful women of God who sacrificially planned tonight’s event and reside in your favor. I am so thankful, God, for Clayton and Charie King whose presence at tonight’s event helped many girls to remember their value and beauty. Thank you God for providing me with a testimony that is relatable with other girls, thank you for a story that is my own. I thank you for bringing me to Davidson College and to Elevation Church. I cannot wait to see what you have planned for me there.  I love you so much, Father! Amen!
